Ingredients:
- 1 village chicken
- 400 grams Jufka (noodles)
- 100 grams of butter
- Rosemary, laurel, thyme
- Salt and pepper
- 1 onion
Preparation:
Boil 1 liter of water and put the village chicken rations to boil, adding salt and the spices you want (thyme, rosemary, laurel). It is recommended to boil the chicken for about 25 minutes from the moment when the first boiling bubbles appear on the water. Mixing the onion with the butter is done at a low temperature and should be left for at least 3-4 minutes, taking care not to get a strong color. After the onion softens a little, add salt and black pepper. Place the noodles on a tray. Spread the butter and onion on it. We can also put some butter and place the pan in the oven at 180ºC for 7 minutes until the noodles turn a little yellow. If you are going to make less than 400 gr, you can saute them in a pan together with the onion and then put them on a baking sheet.
Take them out of the oven and add the chicken stock to the pan (draining the spices). The noodles should be covered with the broth. Place the chicken pieces on them. Put a little bit of butter on each piece of chicken and then put the pan in the oven at a temperature of 200-220 degrees Celsius, until all the ingredients in the pan are browned from baking in the oven. Usually the baking time goes from 20-25 minutes.
For a result with an irresistible taste, you should only use chickens from the village of Erogert. 😊 Enjoy it if you try it!
