The importance of feeding chickens.

The food you give your chickens plays a major role in the quality of the egg and meat we eat. It is understood that other factors are also important, such as temperature, environment, hygiene, etc. But, a controlled and quality diet is necessary for the chicken to get the necessary macro and micro nutrients.

Those who raise chickens know well that the biggest expense in keeping chickens (and poultry in general) is the feeding. In fact, it is a very wrong mindset that chickens are often given 'food' so poor that it cannot be called such. Moldy, spoiled, smelly, worthless and stale foods are extremely harmful to their health as well as to ours. Let's keep in mind that what the chicken will eat, we will also eat!

Good nutrition starts with clean, permanent water. Poultry have light bones and consume large amounts of water. If they don't drink enough water, they will become stressed and may get sick. For this reason, we at Erogert attach great importance to the part of food and water, so that the chickens are raised as healthy as possible and the meat is as tasty as possible. This has made us the choice of many Albanian tables.
